Utah.
Yes, like the state.
Not
much is really known about Utah, which certainly makes the task of writing a bio
on him difficult. Just the name alone sparks controversy. Is that his real name?
Do they call him that because he lived there? Or is it possible, according to
popular belief, that he got that name because he is in the Federal Witness
Protection Program?
Nobody
really knows.
What
is known, however, is that from time to time he likes to pack up his guitar and
head down to a favorite watering hole and play music. Although for the most part
his show consists of him solo on the acoustic guitar, occasionally he is joined
by a fellow musician or two for a few songs. The show consists of everything
from Neil Diamond to Neil Young, Jimmy Buffett to Guns and Roses, with many
stops in between.
The
show, however, is hardly an extravaganza. It lacks scantily clad dancers, rising
drum sets, or pyrotechnics that will burn your business down. The show is geared
more for people who are just out to hang and talk, catch up on old times,
celebrate an event, or to make new friends, all to a friendly background of good
and recognizable music.
If
this sounds like something you are into, then certainly consider having Utah
play for your occasion, whether it be your establishment, a reception, a party,
or any other event that seems like a fit.
